I absolutely love the new Stampin' Up! Fall-Winter 2008 Catalog. Lots of great stamps and wonderful ideas. You can download the  online catalog here.

Last night Stephanie & Cynta stopped by and we had an impromptu craft night, lots of fun and laughing going on, and they each got a chance to walk away with there own catalog....contact me to find out how you can get your very own and a free set of stamps.

Soon it will be time for our monthly "Sistahs in Scrapbooking" crops, and I am really excited about those. I have a few things planned for the months to come, and I think it will be a lot of fun!

Well it's that time of the year

It's good to see # 5 roll out of the pocket. Pre-Season is here...Despite "Da Eagles" lost to the Steelers 16-10, it was great finally seeing some football being played. Congrats to Brian Westbrook on signing his new contract and taking the nite off!

So while watching the game this was my beverage of choice....luv a nice cold one!

Oh and before I forget...I wanna share these with you. I bought a set of Prisma alcohol inks back in the Spring and I really haven't had the chance to play with them until now. I am luvin' the idea of "coloring". It reminds me of coloring in my coloring books as a child. This is the first time that I have used them...let me know what you think....

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine was busy. I went to the Creating Keepsakes Convention and had a wonderful time. Although I did not take any classes there was plenty oppurtunity to shop. It seemed as though there were more vendors than in years past, and the lines were not too terrible. Ran into many of my "Sistahs in Scrapbooking" and met many more new faces. All in all it was lots of fun.

After attending CKC I was inspired to come home and work on a few things...I haven't scrapped in so long, nor make any cards, but I managed to crank out a few...here's a peek.

Numbers...

Here lately i just can't keep this blog up to date...Summer is here and in full swing, and thus far I am pushing numbers with this crazy book.... 2 more weeks of class, and then I get a 3 week break...maybe by that time i will be able to get a little scrapping on ;-)

Getting Some Dirt Off His Shoulders

It is a beautiful morning here in Philly, the birds are singing, sun is shining and the flowers and trees are blooming....and I am doing laundry :-(  LOL.  but later today I will be scrapping at my monthly crop. so if you are in the philly area and feel like hanging out for a couple of hours come join me, or just stop by and say hi! I will be at the Church of the Annunciation, Lincoln Dr & Carpenter Lane, @ 4.00 PM.

In the meantime, there is lots of talk about the debate the other night that was held here in Philly, sadly i missed it as i was in class...but i have seen this video on the net and just wanted to share...who knew Barak had a hip-hop flair..ha-ha

Check in Time....

Hi Everyone!

I have recently found out that I have more readers to this blog than I thought i did...so if you don't mind please "check in" by leaving a comment and letting me know who you are and where you are from. You can stop lurking now...it's okay...really it is....

Other happenings in my world...I will be graduating next month and will have earned my Assoc Science Degree in Bus. Admin. I am currently working on my Bachelor's with 10 more classes to go before completion...I have been inducted into the National Honor Society, and made the Dean's List...wow being a nontraditional student has been a challenge, but what an experience it has been.

Last but certainly not least, I have also joined the Stampin' Up! family, so rubberstamping here I come. I am looking forward to more stamping projects. Also now that Spring has arrived...the scrapbook conventions are now well underway...are you planning on going to any, or have you been to any this year? I will probably go to CKC in Valley Forge, and Memories Expo in NJ.
